Jussie Smollett is 100% pure evil

By Scott Tibbs, February 26, 2019

We need to be perfectly clear when discussing the Jussie Smollett story. He is an evil man. He is 100% pure evil. He fabricated a "hate crime" that, if he had not gotten caught, could have led to innocent men going to prison for a crime they did not commit. He openly said he wanted his "attackers" caught for the sake of "justice." In a just world, Jussie Smollett would be in prison for the rest of his life. At the very least, he tried to inflame racial tensions in a way that could easily lead to more violence in order to raise his own profile and earn praise and adoration from the media, other celebrities and various politicians.

I called this on January 31 on Twitter, saying that the "hate crime" is "a hoax, a fraud, and a fabrication." And here is the thing: The story was so outrageous from the very beginning that everyone knew this was a hoax. Two MAGA hat wearing rednecks recognized an actor and decided to attack him. (Of course they recognized him. Such is his inflated ego.) They also poured bleach on him and put a noose around his neck. Of course rednecks would be randomly prowling one of the most heavily Democratic cities in the country in the middle of the night during a polar vortex armed with bleach and a noose looking for black people to attack.

It was so outlandish that it never made sense, but politicians like Kamala Harris, Corey Booker, Nancy Pelosi and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez instantly jumped on board to condemn the fabricated "attack" and support a liar. But Harris, Booker, Pelosi and Ocasio-Cortez knew this was false from the very beginning. They are liars, knowingly spreading a hoax. They betrayed their constituents and broadcast a lie in order to virtue signal. All four of them should resign from office for these lies, and Booker and Harris should drop their bids for President. They are clearly unqualified to lead this nation. They will divide this country beyond repair.

This whole episode is shameful. That multiple politicians breathlessly repeated the hoax as fact, and that the Fake News Media breathlessly repeated the hoax as fact, shows that for too many people the truth simply does not matter. Any story, no matter how extreme, will be "believed" and spread across the Internet if it can be used to smear and defame political enemies. Of course, nobody ever actually believed Smollett. Everyone knew this was a fraud. That makes it even worse. But will the people who spread this story face any actual consequences? Do not bet on it.
