Put the bong down: PETA becomes the language police

By Scott Tibbs, December 13, 2018

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. -- Genesis 1:28

We hate authority, and our hatred of authority comes from our rebellion against God's authority. This rebellion causes us to seek to upend the natural order of the universe, and place the lower over the greater. There is no more perfect example of this than the "animal rights" movement. God placed all of creation under Man, and "animal rights" extremists seek to invert that order. They place animals over man, even going so far as to police our language. (See People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals' posts on Twitter and Facebook.)

First, let's clarify something: Even if you believe in the doctrine of devils promoted by PETA, there is a massive substantive difference between using bigoted language against human beings and using "bigoted" language against animals. People understand when someone uses racist or misogynistic language, and that language is hurtful. (Note I am talking about real racism or misogyny, and not PC nonsense like "microaggressions.") Animals do not understand "speciesist" language. I could make jokes all day long about how stupid and worthless my dogs are and they do not care as long as they are fed, walked, petted, held, protected and given a warm place to sleep. It is impossible to hurt their feelings.

We need to be very clear about what this new language police is actually trying to accomplish: PETA is seeking to eliminate blasphemy against the demon they worship, earth "goddess" Gaia. Eliminating "speciesist" language does absolutely nothing to help the plight of abused or neglected animals. This is about religious fundamentalism, just as Muslims seek to eliminate "blasphemy" against Allah or Mohammed. The time PETA spends on this stupid meme could have actually been used to advocate for animals, and that time is lost forever and can never be reclaimed.

PETA ceased to be an "animal rights" organization a long time ago. They are far more concerned with protecting pixels and regulating speech that is blasphemous to the demon Gaia. No one should take them seriously, but because they are very well-funded their foolishness should be exposed, condemned, mocked and ridiculed. Christian churches, especially, should warn against PETA's doctrines of devils.
