The radical Left is at it again. Fox News reports that Left-wing "Latino activists" managed to get a forum featuring the activist "Minutemen" group cancelled. The group threatened violence if the event featuring a "racist" speaker went forward.
Isn't this typical? This is yet another example of why I try to use the word "Leftist" instead of "liberal" when describing these people. The word "liberal" is related to the word "liberty", and childish attempts to shut down opposing views certainly is not a "liberal" activist.
On September 11, 2001, bloodthirsty Islamist terrorists murdered 3,000 people in the name of their "god". They hate America because of our freedom. Since then, we have been aggressively fighting the War on Terror against those who would kill and maim innocents in an evil campaign to destroy freedom.
Threatening violence to prevent opposing views from being expressed is right out of the al-Qaeda playbook. The event should have gone forward, and if any terrorists attempted to violently disrupt it, they would be harshly dealt with.
The forum will go forward, but without Chris Simcox. Chalk up another victory for terrorism. While Americans are sacrificing their lives to fight terrorism in Iraq and Afghanistan, we are surrendering to terrorists at home. I cannot think of a more complete surrender to the forces of evil than to bow down to the demands of terrorists right here in America.
